What are frequently requested API links?
Hardcoded has a lot of experience in linking existing software packages such as ERP, CRM, HRM, invoicing, accounting programs, time & attendance tools, and planning software. We link software for automating financial and administrative processes. Within logistics and production processes we often work with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages. An API software link can also serve as a linking pin for the exchange of data with external sales channels such as affiliates, resellers, links with mobile devices and chain integration with suppliers (including track & trace and stock information).
When creating an API link, we always start with an inventory of your current software packages. We map out the relationship between the current processes and software. What data needs to be exchanged? How is the data exported, where can the process be made easier, is there an API (Application Programming Interface) available? We also check whether the software meets the needs of your business, whether new functionalities are desirable and what the ideal link looks like. Next, we develop the link according to the OTAP method.
